Surbana Jurong opens new global headquarters in Jurong Innovation District
The project has been awarded the Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Environment-friendly Mark Platinum Super Low Power and BCA-Health Promotion Board Green Mark Platinum for Healthier Workplaces for its initiatives in sustainability and advertising much healthier lifestyles. This consists of providing end-of-trip facilities, including onsite bike racks and showers.
The campus was developed by Surbana Jurong’s architects in partnership with Safdie Architects to reflect the concept of a “campus in nature.” Previously an undeveloped greenfield location, the campus has actually been created to protect majority of its remaining green space. Built-up green places were changed with rooftop landscapes, green indoor yards, and substantial outside landscape design.
The 10 towers are adjoined by a pedestrian path and encased courtyards, making it possible for natural sunlight and fresh air to stream thru. The development includes services like a 1,000-seater multipurpose place, a junior ballroom, rooftop terraces, a group lounge, table tennis, and a future fitness center establishment.
The campus extends 1.2 million sq ft in built-up space and can fit 4,000 employees and the larger group throughout 10 towers. The campus is expected to home employees from various individuals in Singapore beneath one threshold.
Surbana Jurong introduced its brand-new overseas central office, the Surbana Jurong Campus, in CleanTech Park within the Jurong Innovation District. The facility was formally launched on March 13, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong in attendance.
Sean Chiao, Group Chief Executive Officer of Surbana Jurong, says that the campus acts as a living lab for introducing solutions and driving the borders of lasting development. “In Surbana Jurong Campus, our diverse expertises team up to fix our clients’ most complex problems, meeting our function, Actual impact, made collectively.”
